The heritage of F1 stock car racing illustrated by my model collection
I have published a book of 70 pages - 'Making Stox History' - the heritage of F1 stock car racing in miniature.
It is dedicated to the history of the sport and contains some of my website features, over 130 pictures of the models in my collection and my personal highlights from 40 years as a spectator. Below are pictures of the front and back covers and the contents page:

I have written this book to create a more permanent photographic record of my model collection and I also wanted to explain to my three young grandsons why they couldn't play with granddad's model stock cars and this seemed a practical way of doing so. Two of them have already been to their first F1 meeting (the Europeans) and hopefully the information in the book will be of interest to them when they are older.
It did occur to me that regular visitors to this site may be interested in acquiring a copy of the book. If so, it is available in one of three different cover formats direct from the publishers Blurb and I have provided a direct link below. Your copy would be printed to order and sent direct by courier, usually UPS. You can also view the contents of the book on the Blurb site before purchasing. (UPDATE NOV 2011 - Now also available as an ebook for downloading to ipads, ipoda and iphones using the free Apple app ibooks. Use the link below.)
